About the event

This is a Continuous Professional Development Event.

The event will be held in the Prestigious Members only RICS Historic Grade I Listed Venue in Westminster, London, on Parliament Square.

Come along and see the "She Builds Exhibition" which will be in the venue on the day of our planned event. 

Programme

4 PM Arrivals & Networking.

4.30 Welcome Sarah Chaudhry, MBA FRICS, AMSI Founding Member and Lead.

4.40 Talk from the AMSI host, the RICS, and Sarah Noble, Head of Early Member Engagement.

5 PM. We expect Simon Prichard, Chair of the RICS UK & Ireland World Board, and Senior Partner Gerald Eve to join us on the day.

5.15 PM. Talk from Yahya Saleh on Hajj and Eid Al Adha, a 2023 pilgrim.

5.30 PM. Break, Q&A also Networking.

5.45 PM. Talk from an experienced surveyor, Laeeq Hassan, President-elect QSAP Quantity Surveyors Association Pakistan, based in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

6 PM. Talk from Ayesha Azar on her work, also opportunities in the Valuation Office Agency.

6.15 PM. Two talks. One in the main room and the other in the side room. 

A Talk from an aspiring surveyor, Mohammed Abdur Raheem Khan, an apprentice. 

A Talk about someone’s experience of recently becoming chartered, Arslan Iqbal.

6.30 Event Close and final remarks by Sarah Chaudhry and more on AMSI.

People are welcome to network in the building, but we must be out by 7.30 PM. Last-minute changes are not unknown, but this is what we plan and is confirmed. 

The event will be photographed, and we cannot be responsible if you are in photos. We will arrange cold drinks and snacks, should you require anything more, please bring it along as well as a name badge.
