To mark Eid, we are running a competition, the submission date is 22 April 2024.
The UK’s Real Estate Investment & Infrastructure Forum (UKREiiF) is an annual yearlong movement, culminating in a three-day event, for the real estate and infrastructure sectors facilitating investor and developer connections whilst enabling best practice and thought leadership.
AMSi came about last year, and we believe everyone deserves a fair chance, we have simple aims which include working with real estate organisations and we are pleased to offer this opportunity to win tickets to UKREiiF, we thank them.
UKREiiF is from 21-23 May, at the Royal Armouries, Leeds & Leeds Dock, event tickets can cost as much as £900+VAT, and the offer of tickets is an opportunity as many in the AMSi community would not ordinarily be able to attend.
To enter the competition, submit a 15-minute professional presentation on Ramadan and Eid and what it means to be a surveyor or a real estate professional.
The presentation outline can be, (not prescriptive):
- The topic;
- Who you are and where you work;
- Your professional and other qualifications;
- You may wish to add your photo, but it is not necessary.
- To explain Eid and Ramadan, what it means day to day;
- To explain how it impacts you and your work, and what an employer can do to make the day easier.
- Add project(s) you work(ed) on and photos.
The aim is to showcase talent, individuals, or organisations and to platform people that would not ordinarily be seen, and to see the variety of work people do in the real estate industry.
The winner(s) are to be announced at the sold-out "Eid at the RICS" event on 1 May 2024 (a waiting list is available), in Westminster, London. The UKREiiF team has agreed to review the submissions and to decide on the winner(s), we have a few tickets to allocate.
